AEW staff don’t believe that AEW World Champion CM Punk will be with the company for much longer following the All Out 2022 media scrum.
During the post-show press conference, Punk had fiery comments about AEW EVPs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, as well as Colt Cabana and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.
Backstage, a fight broke out between Punk, his trainer Ace Steel, the Bucks, and Omega, which the World Champion is reported to have started.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that several AEW wrestlers cannot fathom Punk being kept on after what has happened.
Punk is alleged to have thrown punches at Matt Jackson, while Ace Steel threw a chair at Nick Jackson, hitting him in the eye.
Steel is also reported to have bit Kenny Omega and pulled the hair of the former AEW World Champion.
AEW President Tony Khan has not commented publicly at this time.
