Starrcast Preparing for Possible Superclash Event

Starrcast received a lot of praise for the way the booked the entire card for Ric Flair’s Last Match in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 31st. It appears that Conrad Thompson’s promotion might be bringing another classic event back to life.

According to Figure Four Online, Starrcast filed trademark for ‘SuperClash” on September 7, 2022. The latest filing comes one month after Thompson filed to trademark “Southwest Championship Wrestling.” Read the details of the filing below.

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

The inaugural SuperClash emanated from Chicago’s Comiskey Park on September 28th, 1985, and featured then-NWA World Champion Ric Flair versus Magnum T.A. in the main event. AWA held the event in 1987, 1988 and 1990 as well.
