— The NFL’s return to Monday nights did a number on viewership and ratings figures for WWE’s Monday Night Raw, dropping all the way down to an audience of 1.710 million viewers – the least watched episode since early July and also since Triple H took over creative. Monday Night Football was broadcast across two cable networks and one broadcast and totalled almost 20 million viewers, quite a bit higher than what football usually gets. In the 18-49 demographic, Raw scored a 0.44 rating to finish #7 on the night behind games on the two cable channels, the post-game show, the pre-game show, the MNF countdown and SportsCenter. In perhaps the only bit of good news is that compared to last year when football came back on air, Raw was up across the board (albeit marginally) in viewership and most of the demos. Below are the hourly figures:

  • Hour 1 – 1.783 million
  • Hour 2 – 1.821 million
  • Hour 3 – 1.525 million
